We agree that we will photocopy
or copy the course notes as provided by
Permaculture Visions only for our own work to assist
in our study of Permaculture. We will not distribute
any of Permaculture Visions work to others.
Where appropriate, we will ensure that Permaculture
Visions is acknowledged as the source of the
information.
When, as a graduate, we operate as Permaculture
Designers we are free to use the Client Site Analysis
Documents as our own and acknowledge that Permaculture
Visions also uses these documents in their designs and
offers them to assist student designers.
We understand that our homework notes may be shared as
a positive example to other students. We acknowledge
that the information provided by Permaculture Visions
is provided in good faith and is only offered as a
guide. We will seek professional advice on structures,
water-ways,animal and community safety, local law,
medical and veterinary problems where appropriate.

Do I Get When I Enrol?

Course notes; all postage (ours - with
the exception of overseas students), our
postage or Email to you;unlimited
personalised feedback (for
correspondence by mail); costs of
meeting specific research requests and
advice; Reasonable phone timefor urgent
queries is also supplied.
There are no hidden costs. The only
ongoing costs incurred should be postage
and your stationary. Some students
supply photos to theirtutors - this is
entirely optional.

REFUND POLICY: Your fees are partial
contribution to the cost of producing
and maintaining the comprehensive
course notes, and thedemonstration
site which helps illustrate the course
notes. All funds are committed to
promoting permaculture. We rely
heavily onvolunteer staff. Once a
student has received the course notes
in full, no refund can be offered.
Tuition is supplied free of charge.

When do I start? is there a set
starting date?
A:
There is no specified starting
date, you start when you are ready
and learnat your own pace, there
is unlimited tutor support time
and you can complete the courses
as quickly as 2 weeks or as slowly
as 2 years.
Q: How long
does the course take? What are
the hours?
A:
The Permaculture Design Course
is a 72 hour course. You have
unlimitedtime in which to do the
course although we try to keep
you studying regularly. You
choose your hours and pace your
learning. You send yourtutor
answers to the suggested
homework tasks as you complete
them and your tutor writes back
with advise and support. This
communication isvia email or
snail mail, you choose which one
suits you best.
Q: Is the
course suitable for my country
and climate?

Students are encouraged to
explore their local region, the
fauna andthe people, the soil
and the natural resources.
There is course material from
Australia, USA, from The
Antarctic totropics. Many
students have made contributions
and their experience has been
incorporated into the course
material. You are alsoinvited to
joining our student mailing list
which gives you access to other
students and graduates online.
Q: What if
I find it hard to write about
myself and imagine a
permaculturesystem where I
live?

Self
directed learning may be a new
experience, we have all the
supportand encouragement to
get you started.
However, It is up to each
student to make the best of
this resource. We
areachieving the permaculture
goal of working where it
counts, working with committed
students that are ready to
make a change.
Weencourage you to
explore your community,
to link up with other groups
and like-minded people, we
sometimes get the chance
toassist directly in linking
students to permaculture
associations and demonstration
gardens. Our resource is
unique in that itgives the
students a global perspective
of permaculture, and has a
diverse and interesting
student population. We
